It's a done deal! The City Council has voted to sell the three sites to Habitat for Humanity. Next step is to open the escrow (should happen in about a week). When we receive a copy of the fully executed DDA we can have our first meeting at the site to layout the start of construction. I'm planning to have the get acquainted session on a Saturday morning. I'll get the date to you as soon as we have the DDA in our hands.
This has been a long dry spell which we hope to avoid in the future. I thank you for your patience and being willing to hang in while this process unfolded. Now we can concentrate on building some homes for deserving families. I can promise that you will enjoy our working with partner families to help them own their own homes.
